Security Guard
This vacancy announcement will remain open for three months or until all vacancies have been filled. Qualified applicants will be referred two weeks after the opening date, then as needed to fill vacancies. Selections may be made before the closing date of this announcement. This position is a Term position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to the maximum of years per regulatory guidance. This position may be converted to permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent. Experience:
One year of specialized experience which your resume demonstrates working with a Federal, State, Municipal, Local, or Private protective organization(s) that involved the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, and trespassing and maintaining order and protecting life. Your resume MUST have demonstrated at least one (1) year of such experience as described above to be considered for this position. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
