Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) planning, coordinating and carrying out successive steps in fact-finding and analysis of issues; 2) developing findings and recommendations for release, publication or discussion with management officials; 3) using judgement in choosing, interpreting, or adapting available guidelines to specific issues or subjects studied; 4) insuring the safe, secure, and environmentally responsible storage of chemical munitions; 5) participating in operations for Chemical Accident or Incident Response and Assistance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE GS-12 GRADE LEVEL:
Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) developing and reviewing standard operating procedures for inspection, monitoring, storage and movement of chemical munitions and hazardous waste; 2) Participating in chemical agent assessment and toxic material handling practices under safe operating environment; 3) Participating in operations for Chemical Accident or Incident Response and Assistance; 4) Planning and coordinating reconfiguration workload to ensure adequate personnel and equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above ). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, at the GS-12 grade level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
