Job Description:
The Process Engineer, Machining, plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of process standards; determines sequence of manufacturing to meet all customer requirements at quoted rates plus expected losses. Job Responsibility:

Value added work reduction/elimination in the departments (Offline inspection, Rework, GP:
12, Wasted material movement, Wasted motion, etc.) Lead organized teams revolving around continuous improvement, standardization and lean concept activities, report and track progress. Prioritization of process and cost improvement activities, which includes detailed analysis of process data and cost breakdowns. Improvement activities often include timelines, simulation, work load balance, capability studies etc. Actively involved in systematic improvements such as data collection, cost analysis, making required information and forms easier to use and more readily accessible. With QC jointly develop PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and other quality planning documentation. This activity often includes active development, approval and proper implementation of up front preventative actions including error:
proofing and failure detection devices. Manage and update process information resulting from a process changes and cost improvements. (Procedures, instructions, forms and Process Change Notifications (PCNs). Lead and participate in plant SAP teams to improve OEE metrics. Lead and participate in Quick Hit teams that positively impact the Comac production group. Perform other duties as assigned Must Haves:
