Production Planning Manager :
Consumer Products Global leader in the development and production of well known consumer products company seeks a Production Planning Manager to lead a transformative supply chain team with 5 direct reports and 80 indirect at the companys flagship manufacturing site near Nashville, TN.
The Production Planning Manager will:
Direct planning, scheduling and control of inventory and production, managing procurement of materials and supplies to support production and plant operations.
Communicate and work with Corporate Planning group to convey plant needs.
Manages SAP systems and controls, forecasting, plant connections and information flow supply chain and operations, BOM and work centers Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, supply chain, engineering, logistics or other applicable discipline; advanced degree preferred 10
years experience in manufacturing and or supply planning, logistics in consumer products or related industry APICS :
CSCP or :
certification strongly preferred Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred A track record of accomplishment in leading Lean transformation in a supply chain leadership role Demonstrated management skills, leading across all business functions, beyond organizational boundaries Strong leadership skills with a track record of accomplishment in transforming supply chain teams and programs Excellent communications skills; oral, written, presentation and electronic A passionate and enthusiastic leadership style with the ability to inspire and take programs and people to the next level Source:
