Owner Operators Wanted First Star Logistics in Columbus, Ohio is looking for owner operators out of the below areas who are willing to come work in Columbus all week.
Weekend work is available and appreciated, but never required.
We are an intermodal carrier (hauling containers,) but 90% of our freight is 53' containers that do not come out of nor go into the depots (they do go in/out of the Columbus rail yards.
) In addition, at least 70% of our freight is drop and hook.
And quite a bit of is light.
We also only haul local/regional out of Columbus, OH.
We are willing to pay for a driver to bobtail to Columbus at the beginning of the week & home at the end of the week for someone willing to work all week in Columbus.
Akron / Canton, OH Richmond, IN Cleveland, OH Columbus, OH Chillicothe, OH Cincinnati, OH Parkersburg, WV Wheeling, WV Huntington, WV Wheeling Creek, OH Findlay, OH Bowling Green, OH Call about any other area We have fuel cards, plate programs, truck insurance, weekly settlements and only a 1 week hold back.
We pay a minimum of 70% of the loads
100% fuel surcharge.
We are also a terminal run by people from the industry with 16
years experience in the industry.

We require:
CLASS A CDL minimum of 25 years of age decent MVR can pass a drug test 2 years OTR experience in the past 6 years truck no more than 15 years old - or 19 years old with 6 months of maintenance records.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
