Responsibilities:
Exercise daily supervision over tellers and assure all appropriate controls are observed.
Address performance related issues timely and conducts annual reviews of staff.
Review teller cash outages on a regular basis, reinforcing training when necessary and reporting discrepancies as outline in the Teller Outage Policy.
Conduct and document counseling meetings with tellers who exceed outage limits.
Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Assigns duties and work schedules for Tellers to ensure efficient functioning of department.
Provides excellent customer service, which includes the prompt acknowledgment of customers and maintaining a friendly and courteous disposition; ensures that customers are satisfied with all transaction requests.
Provides guidance and training of new employees and banking procedures.
Performs all teller functions, such as cashing checks, receiving deposits, distributing withdrawals, loan payments, completing stop payments, etc.

Opens new accounts, checking, savings, certificate of deposits and individual retirement accounts.
Ensures supply of money for branch operation's needs based on business demand and on legal requirements.
Responsible for ordering, shipping, and receiving vault money for branch.
Counts and records currency and coin in vault.
Responsible for the development, rewarding, disciplining and evaluations of staff.
Provides support and assistance to tellers in dealing with customer problems that are particularly sensitive and complex.
Expands customer relationships by suggesting and selling additional products and services based on customers' needs through a variety of cross-selling techniques.
Monitors and reviews branch operation's security/alarm procedures and control access to vault.
Conducts themselves in a manner, which fosters teamwork and a positive work environment treating all employees with respect, giving full support and cooperation.
Responsible for adherence to teller performance policies and guidelines.
Follows security precautions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Three years previous teller experience along with opening new accounts.
Accurate and detail-oriented Previous customer service experience; knowledge of effective customer service methods and practices.
Strong interpersonal and interaction skills.
Must have ability to interact comfortably and confidently with customers, co-workers, and departments.
Demonstrates the initiative to initiate dialogue.
Ability to solve a wide variety of teller and customer service problems.
Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in a teamwork environment.
Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
Proficient computer skills including ability to work in Windows based systems.
Previous supervisory experience preferred Candidates must meet the company's hiring criteria to include a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.
