Job Description:
Responsible for planning and performing mechanical operations to service all types of plant equipment to maintain production capabilities and product standards.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Constructs, modifies, repairs, dismantles, assembles, and services plant equipment to get it in operational order in a timely manner.
Diagnose and solve mechanical problems on roll:
form, press brakes, 60:
350 ton presses and other standard manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot electronic controls and work on paint reciprocators.
Operate normal machines of the trade.
Maintains equipment as specified by layout, diagram, work order or oral instructions.
Notifies management of issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to visually read and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to write clearly and informatively and present numerical data effectively.
Ability to perform basic math operations including operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Must have manual dexterity in both hands and the ability to reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
