Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for GE Industrial Solutions Americas, you will lead supplier approval, development, and qualification activities related to PCBA electronics for New Product and Change Management programs.
You will also lead performance monitoring activities for electronics suppliers.
Essential
Responsibilities:
:
Manage supplier quality NPI deliverables to approve suppliers, and qualify parts and assemblies to meet NPI quality and schedule requirements :
Conduct supplier business and process surveys, and implement improvement plans, to ensure high quality suppliers are implemented :
Drive supplier part and assembly compliance to engineering specifications through robust supplier manufacturing and testing processes, and Quality Control Plans :
Interface with other functions (Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing) including leading and facilitating cross functional pulsing meetings and formal NPI Electronics Quality Reviews :
Implement key proactive supplier quality strategies to drive ongoing reliability performance :
Drive Cost of Quality reductions through continuous improvement and robust corrective actions with suppliers :
Establish required CTQ performance and monitoring at suppliers by implementing robust quality control plans :
Lead the implementation of Supplier Quality related online tools for suppliers as needed.
Lead system implementation and training of GE's SQ systems to suppliers and develop suppliers' capabilities to drive process improvements Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience) :
Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA and PCB fabrication :
with emphasis on process evaluation and quality assurance ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
