Summary:
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
Responsible for reporting and analysis around product standard costs, variances, and margin. Create synergy between the inventory team and financial reporting team to enhance reporting around key areas such as product line, customer, and brand profitability. Oversee key responsibilities of
an inventory control function, including but not limited to:
Supervise new item setup and maintenance. Reconcile daily inventory balances between the warehouse and our system. Responsible for establishing standards and maintaining policies, procedures, and accuracy of all inventories in the company. Assessment of procedures conducted to drive continuous improvement and maintain best in class status. Proactively monitor key indicators to communicate and resolve problems. Ensure all weekly and monthly reports are delivered accurately and on time. Facilitate the reduction of SKUs for inventory across the network. Ensure all returned/defective inventory is accounted for & handled properly. Partner with Strategic Logistics Solutions (SLS) group to:
Manage 3PL network including developing and managing key performance indicators and understanding file transfer protocols. Analyze 3PL network controls. Be on forefront of new product introductions, including contract review of all third party supplier arrangements which impact current accounting practices and inventory control processes. Increase presence at warehouses and roll out new strategy on physical inventory control through cycle count audits, to include timeline of visits and plans to refresh inventory handling policies and practices. Engage in optimization of business processes that will be implemented in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Work with functional and operating business partners to drive overall business specific strategies. Key strategic themes focus on delivering consistent, repeatable processes to optimize inventory position, profit enhancement, managing risk and operating effectiveness. Lead month-end close process to accurately report inventory on financial statements. Direct, train, and oversee the development of staff. Support end users at distribution centers . Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting from four-year college or university; with five to seven years related experience and/or training; CPA certification required. MBA a plus. Audit and/or public company experience a plus. Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and depreciation. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Reasoning Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Travel - Willing to travel up to 10%. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, the employee must be capable of performing each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements herein are the minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
